A tiny Story: RUN OUT OF PETROL

     I couldn’t believe what had happened to me. I had booked a flight from London to Madrid to visit my family for Easter. I had planned to drive to Stansted airport, return the car and catch my flight home.

      I took my luggage and set off on my way. Everything was going well until the car stopped. What a stupid thing! I had forgotten to fill it up with petrol!

      Luckily a police car stopped and I desperately explained my problem to the policeman. He listened, smiled and told me to get into the car. He drove me with my luggage to the airport.

      I quickly sorted things out with the rental company and ran to board my flight. I joke about it now, but at the time it really was not funny.

After that, I promised that I would never make the same mistake again.
